"The Mirror" Internship

The horror/fantasy short film for virtual reality “The Mirror” is looking for two interns to be part of our production crew.

You would be working with professional theatre and film creatives to produce a multidisciplinary experience that merges dance, original music, and narrative, shot with a 360 camera and ambisonic microphone. Given the nature of filming in 360, our crew is small and our interns will be an integral part of our production, however, VR experience is not required as our intention is to create a learning space for all creators.

“The Mirror '' is produced by Elgalen Productions and sponsored by The Seagull Project and the City of Seattle through the smART Ventures Grant. Its final cut will be available on Oculus, HTC Vive, and Youtube VR. The film is written and produced by Seattle University Film Studies Professor and screenwriter Josefina Valenzuela Cerda, and directed by Seagull Project Artistic Director, Gavin Reub.

Each internship will correspond to 30 hours of work (1 credit): Production will be during September 2021  in the Seattle Area. Post Production hours/dates will be discussed.
