a scholar's mind.
I write dramas and dramedies centered on characters who navigate the messy, dark, and hopeful journey of finding their power and a place to belong.
They are often anti-heroines -unruly, unconventional, underestimated women- who defy the scripts society has written for them, raging when rage is forbidden and emerging from chaos not polished, but transformed.
I build worlds that expand across Fantasy, Horror, Magical Realism, and Historical Fiction. These spaces are rooted in rigorous research, from the stitch of a period garment to the logic of a forensic report, to ensure they feel immersive, lived-in, and tactile.
By grounding the often strange or whimsical worlds in truth, I invite audiences to escape and wonder "what if" while reflecting on the visceral realities of our own world.
My work is backed by an MFA in Writing for Screen and Stage and a BA in Film and Media Directing, providing a foundation that combines academic precision with extensive experience in development, on-set production, and post-production.
I bring a unique life experience, a mother's intuition, a Latinx heritage, and a world traveler's point of view to every project. Now based in Los Angeles, I am fiercely carving my space in Hollywood, ready to connect and collaborate.
