As a Storyteller
I write dramas for television, film, and immersive media about anti-heroines—often cynical and unconventional girls and women—who battle societal expectations and their own shadows to reclaim their narratives and salvage hope.
My characters must learn to navigate unique worlds where whimsical magic, obscure history, diverse cultures, and the raw horrors of human experience collide.
Through fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural, horror, and historical genres, I explore themes of loneliness, ageism, trauma, resilience, the female mind, and the quest for meaning—So that my anti-heroines can grasp for the light of hope in the darkest places, rage when rage is forbidden and emerge from chaos not polished but transformed.
Trajectory
A Latina storyteller originally from Chile, I discovered the power of writing when my stoic father cried while reading my first book. I was eight years old, living in a country fractured by terrorism and already weaving stories as a means of connection and survival. With a background in film directing and experience in editing, production, development, and teaching, my storytelling journey has spanned multiple mediums. I momentarily became a flight attendant to collect the world’s stories, enriching my craft with global perspectives.
My award-winning VR films explore immersive musical horror, my dark fantasy feature was a Script2Comic finalist, and Chicago Dramatists and Idle Muse Theatre have showcased my plays. I served as head writer for the Chilean adaptation of an ABC TV docu-series, led multiple branded content series -one nominated for an Effie Award- and contributed to major feature film and TV productions.
Beyond storytelling, I am deeply committed to social impact. As a Red Cross disaster operations volunteer and a longtime supporter of food banks and children's homes, I believe in the power of community and the responsibility to uplift others. Having lived in five cities across three countries, I now reside in Los Angeles, eager to continue crafting stories for film, television, and immersive media—stories that challenge, inspire, and give voice to the unheard.
